BaroquePlus Series

In addition to the traditional Liszt Academy Concert Series and Children’s Concerts, this year’s season will launch a new concert series called Baroque Plus. The specialty of the concerts organized in this series is that next to the great Baroque masters; Bach, Vivaldi and Corelli, contemporary pieces will be played as well. Please read below for more information about the concerts.

On the concert held on 14th February, György Orbán’s A Farewell to Count Rasumoffsky, Schubert’s Sonata in A minor "Arpeggione", D.821 and Mendelssohn’s String Octet in E flat major, Op.20 will be played.

    Liszt Academy Concert Series

    This year, once again, we managed to invite world-renowned soloists to the Liszt Academy Concert Series. In the 2016/17 season, as part of the concert series, four concerts will be held.

    Children’s Concert Series

    In this year’s season, the much-loved children’s concerts that started in the spring of 2016 will be continued. Envisioned by the pianist Izabella Simon the aim of these occasions is to guide the children, with the help of music, literature and visual art, to a magic world where they can be active participants of the stories.
